This document outlines how your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia, and the legal terms under which you participate in the WHITE TANTRIC YOGA® Kuala Lumpur workshop. By registering for and attending this event, you agree to the terms regarding the collection and use of your data and release of liability as outlined below.

  1. Definitions

For the purposes of this document:

  • “Participant” refers to the person registering for and attending the WHITE TANTRIC YOGA® Kuala Lumpur workshop.
  • “Released Parties” refers to Humanology and Health Science, Inc. (H&HS), Utama Serimaju Sdn Bhd, their employers, employees, representatives, agents, and affiliated or subordinate organizations.
  1. Collection of Personal Data

In the course of registering for and attending the workshop, we will collect personal data that may include:

  • Name
  • Contact information (email address, phone number)
  • Demographic information (age, gender, etc.)
  • Any other details you provide during registration or at the event
  1. Purpose of Data Collection

The personal data collected will be used for the following purposes:

  • To communicate with you regarding event details and updates
  • To send you follow-up materials and information post-event, including related content and future event invitations
  • For internal administrative purposes, including record keeping and participant analysis
  • To comply with any legal or regulatory obligations

Your personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above. If required by law, we will retain data for a longer period.

  • Our affiliated organizers, Utama Serimaju Sdn Bhd and Humanology and Health Science, Inc. (H&HS), for the purposes of managing the workshop and post-event communication

  1. Event Participation Terms

By registering for the WHITE TANTRIC YOGA® Kuala Lumpur workshop, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to comply with the following:

  • You consent to the collection, use, and retention of your personal data for the purposes outlined in this document.
  • You agree to receive event-related communications before, during, and after the event.
  • You acknowledge that the workshop may involve physical, mental, and emotional activities, and you participate at your own risk.
  • You agree to behave respectfully and follow any guidelines provided by the organizers during the event.
  • You understand that the organizers reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the event schedule or content.
  1. Release of Liability

The Participant hereby releases and covenants not to sue the Released Parties from any liability for any claims, obligations, damages, injuries, or causes of action that may arise from participating in the WHITE TANTRIC YOGA® workshop.

Additionally, the Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, suits, expenses (including legal fees), and liabilities that may arise from participation in the Workshop.

  1. Intellectual Property

The presentations and content at the WHITE TANTRIC YOGA® Workshop are the intellectual property of Humanology and Health Science, Inc., and are protected by copyright. No reproduction, transmission, or distribution of the content (including descriptions, photos, or recordings) is permitted without prior written consent from Humanology and Health Science, Inc.

  1. Assumption of Risk

The Participant acknowledges and agrees to assume all risks, including any accidents, injuries, property damage, or illness (including COVID-19) that may occur during the Workshop. The Participant takes full responsibility for any harm or loss incurred during the Workshop.

  1. Medical Emergency

In the case of a medical emergency, the Participant authorizes the Released Parties to seek appropriate medical care and accepts financial responsibility for all such medical services.

  1. COVID-19 Acknowledgment

The Participant agrees to follow all safety precautions related to COVID-19, including:

  • Adhering to local COVID-19 regulations and workshop-specific instructions.
  • Representing that they have not been advised to quarantine, are not experiencing symptoms, and have not been knowingly exposed to COVID-19 within 30 days of the Workshop.

If these representations are not accurate on the day of the Workshop, the Participant agrees not to attend. The Participant acknowledges that the Workshop may be subject to cancellation or restriction by public health authorities.

  1. Right of Refusal

The Released Parties reserve the right to refuse entry to or remove any Participant from the premises, for any reason, including but not limited to providing false COVID-19 documentation or failing to comply with safety instructions.

  1. Waiver

The Participant hereby specifically waives the provisions of any law or regulation which provide that a general release does not extend to claims which the Participant does not know or suspect to exist in his/her favor at the time of executing the release. This release does not waive any liabilities in a manner prohibited under any applicable state law; however, it releases the Released Parties, and waives the Released Parties’ potential liability for any released claims, as broadly as is enforceable under applicable law.

By registering, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this policy, as well as the event participation and release terms outlined above. Your electronic signature or registration will serve as acknowledgment of agreement to this release.
